Inventory Intake and Adjustments

Overview

Inventory Intake and Adjustments is the control point for accurate on-hand quantity in DRX.

Use it to record incoming stock, include costs, or correct counts after a physical count or audit.

When to use it

  • Receiving goods and logging unit/weight and total cost.
  • Correcting inaccurate stock levels.
  • Rebuilding stock quantity after a cycle count.

How to use it

  1. Open Inventory and select the product.
  2. Confirm workspace context.
  3. Choose action:
  • Increase: add stock.
  • Decrease: remove stock.
  • Set to: replace current quantity with a verified target.

Receive stock (Increase)

  1. Choose Increase.
  2. Enter received amount/weight.
  3. Enter total cost and optional supplier/delivery cost.
  4. Select a required reason.
  5. Review on-hand preview and submit.
  6. If approval is required, monitor pending status.

Correct stock (Decrease)

  1. Choose Decrease.
  2. Enter amount/weight removed.
  3. Add a clear reason.
  4. Review preview and submit.

Replace stock count (Set to)

  1. Choose Set to.
  2. Enter the verified target quantity.
  3. Add a reason.
  4. Review before/after values and submit.

Options and settings

  • Increase, Decrease, Set to.
  • Required reason and optional supplier fields.
  • Approval gating based on workspace policy.

Tips for operators

  • Use Set to only after a physical count confirmation.
  • Enter cost on every intake so valuation stays usable.
  • Keep reasons clear and specific to speed manager review.
